16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children

The “16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children” is an annual campaign that runs from November 25th (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to December 10th (International Human Rights Day). During these 16 days, individuals, communities, and organizations around the world come together to raise awareness, advocate for an end to gender-based violence, and promote gender equality.

The campaign aims to shed light on the prevalence and impact of violence against women and children, challenge harmful stereotypes and attitudes that perpetuate such violence, and mobilize action to prevent and respond to instances of gender-based violence. Activities during the 16 days may include educational workshops, marches, advocacy campaigns, social media campaigns, and policy initiatives.

By participating in the “16 Days of Activism” campaign, individuals and communities can contribute to the global effort to create a world free of violence against women and children, where human rights are respected, and gender equality is upheld. Let’s unite to stand up against all forms of violence and work towards a safer, more inclusive society for everyone.
