International Nursing Day is celebrated around the world every May 12th, the anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale, considered the pioneer of modern nursing.
It’s appropriate therefore that International Nurses Day this year falls on the same day as Mother’s Day – Sunday 12 May.
